Youth Convention: As a sequel to the National Youth Day we organized a Youth Convention on 17 January 2016 at its main premises at Bistupur, Jamshedpur.
Prior to this Convention, in-house cultural competitions on the life and message of Swami Vivekananda were conducted in many educational institutions in Jamshedpur. About 1500 Students from 30 educational institutions participated in the Recitation Competition on Swami Vivekananda’s Poem “To The Awakened India” and in the Essay Competition on the subject “Help and not Fight, Assimilation and not Destruction, Harmony and Peace and not Dissension—Elaborate in the Light of Swami Vivekananda”.
Among all the participants, the first three rank holders in each competition from each school were awarded prizes. Total 202 students were awarded prizes which comprised books on Swami Vivekananda.
Around 1500 people including students, teachers of many educational institutions of Jamshedpur and guardians participated in the programme.
