We organized “A Musical Tribute to Swamiji” on 21 and 22 December 2013 at Ravindra Bhavan, Jamshedpur. Swami Balabhadranandaji inaugurated the programme at 4:00 pm on 21 December 2013.
It was a festival of Indian Classical Music (Vocal and Instrumental) in which as many as eight maestros (Ustads and Pandits) performed. Notable among them was 107-year old Ustad Abdul Rashid Khan, the oldest living performer of Hindustani Classical Music. He kept the audience spellbound by his superb vocal performance. Altogether around 1000 people interested in Classical Indian Music attended the two-day musical festival.
