Like the previous years, this year also we conducted the Child Eye Care Project from 28 July 2015 to 7 September 2015. Initially 2131 students from Class II to Class VII of 18 schools in Jamshedpur were screened in the schools. Among them, 320 students (134 boys and 186 girls) were taken to an eye hospital for further check-ups. Among these students, 250 students having refractory errors were given spectacles.
