Kumari Anjali Lohar, a girl student of standard VII of our Ramakrishna Mission English School, Bistupur, participated in the Axis Splash Contest held in November 2014 through 2500 branches of Axis Bank in India. (http://www.myideaofprogress.com/splash/)
It was an all-India-level painting competition on the theme “My Idea of Progress” in which the participants, from standard III to VI, had to paint on the topic Preservation of Environment.
Kumari Anjali Lohar secured 1st position in Bihar and Jharkhand Circle among 3500 participants and 2nd position in National level among 90,000 candidates.
On 23 April 2015, in a function held in our school, Axis Bank handed over Anjali two certificates and two tablets—one for the 1st position in Bihar-Jharkhand circle and the other for the 2nd position in the National Level.
